People in my close circles will be a bit sick of me talking about this but it has been really exciting. What was supposed to be a few months has been an almost 18 month slog.
It started as a conversation on a stoep at the coast over a game of cards. A few rounds of ideation and testing later (spanning the course of 18 months), I find myself waiting for the final test prototype. What an adventure it has been!
The game consists of 118 cards and is quintessentially South African. The game is to build a team of players & staff, the whole while building up Rugby Bucks and getting admin done. I have done every piece of the project myself, from designing the cards to the eCommerce platform that will allow you to buy a pack.
I want to do a full piece on how I went about most of it and I have a full marketing campaign lined up (watch this space). This is me just giving you a heads up that there is something exciting on the horizon.
